Regards is participating in the NADA Chicago Gallery Open with a presentation focussed on John Pittman’s Covid Series.

This body of work began in March of this year and continues today. The formal tension in Pittman’s work is at a new level as these smaller, anxious objects with their increased markings beckon a viewership of care. As beautiful and painstakingly crafted as ever, the Covid Series describes a dynamic between perception and aesthetics that simultaneously extends and compresses itself–slowly and constantly taking themselves apart and putting themselves back together.
