Regards will present new iterations of Christopher Aque’s ongoing photographic project using UV-C light (a germicidal wavelength that degrades organic matter) to expose cyanotypes directly on glass and aluminum, producing pictures in which New York City appears as a backdrop to explore ideas of visibility, transparency, and displacement.

This project has played major roles in recent exhibitions at Regards, Frieze New York and Sweetwater, Berlin.
